One of my brothers bought the Yamaha Gigmaker Standard Acoustic Guitar Package in Singapore a month ago and I "borrowed" (with no intention of ever returning it - haha) it for a test play. I am so astounded with this beginner's guitar, that I don't ever wanna play my old classical guitar anymore. In this page, I will review the Yamaha Gigmaker Standard Acoustic Guitar Package.
The Yamaha Gigmaker Standard Acoustic Guitar Package Inclusions
It comes in with:
- the guitar (of course) - Yamaha
GigMaker F325 (Which is shown at the right side) - has a spruce top
and a rosewood fret board along with chrome tuning pegs.
- a gig bag
- a strap
- a tuner - Qwik Tune
- a guitar lessons CD (very helpful!)
- extra strings!

Wow, this guitar got me inspired to try and practice more. Watch out, Jack Johnson!
The guitar's sound is crystal clear which is hard to find in inexpensive guitars. Aside from that, it looks superb. Well, creating superior looking guitars is in Yamaha's reputation (I own the Yamaha Gigmaker EG), so that is not a surprise.

Reviewing the Other Inclusions in the Yamaha Gigmaker Standard Acoustic Guitar Package
- The Instructional DVD is just plain awesome. FAIR NOTE: if you do not want to be inspired to build your own band, do not watch the CHORD STUDIO!
- I had the Qwik Chrome Tuner from my Yamaha Gigmaker EG, so I know this one rocks!
- The only letdown is the Gigbag. It is too thin and I don't think this will protect the guitar from bumps and drops.
- The strap also breaks easily, but that information is trivial, as I do have a good strap at home.
THE VERDICT
This is an super duper awesome guitar! (I've been meaning to say that.) But when you buy it, get yourself a gigbag, to save yourself from frustration.
